CANCER REHABILITATION

Cancer & Exercise Rehabilitation

What Do We Treat? | Osteopathy in Stamford Brk

The literature supports that exercise improves treatment outcomes: reduces fatigue and improves mood, help to decrease chances of re-occurence, helps to restore range of motion, improve bone density, improve your cardiovascular capacity altered by chemotherapy and radiotherapy, improve and reduce the risk of lymphoma.

Exercise is now recognised as an essential part of cancer care. Research shows that regular, tailored exercise can help improve treatment outcomes, reduce cancer-related fatigue, improve mood and wellbeing, restore strength and mobility, maintain bone density, and improve cardiovascular fitness, which can be affected by chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Exercise has also been associated with improved quality of life and, for some cancers, a lower risk of recurrence.

At Fit & Flex Osteopathy, we support you throughout every stage of your cancer journey—from diagnosis, through treatment, and into recovery. Our Cancer & Exercise Rehabilitation programme provides a safe, welcoming environment where exercise is carefully adapted to complement your medical treatment.
